The Sun Clock is an exciting PC application and useful screen saver, provided by Systems Union, author of SunSystems. Designed to help you see at a glance the local time around the world, it also facilitates international business. The Sun Clock is packed with interesting features including: time-zones, movement of the sun and moon around the earth; multi-lingual support; phases of the moon; solar and lunar eclipses and now with stars and planets. The Sun Clock features three screen savers in one: Sun clock, the night sky, and a large format clock - simply take your pick. When used as a screen saver it supports Windows screen saver passwords.

See the sky as it appears from your location, or any other chosen location. The sun, moon, and major planets are displayed against the stars. Two grids show the celestial coordinates and the elevation and bearing as measured from the specified location.

The distance to each planet and their speed with respect to the earth is displayed on the left hand side. A large format analogue clock gives a display that can be read across the room and which lists the times in the cities that you have selected. Other features include sun path diagrams for any date or location, and a printable perpetual calendar with the phases of the moon.

The Sun Clock shows time zones around the world a well as the time at locations of your choice. Place the cursor over any time zone to get the time in that zone. The state of the sun and the moon is shown both as shadows on the map and as views as seen from your present location. Observe both solar and lunar eclipses. The times for today's sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset are shown for your chosen location. Also, as an option you can choose to display the compass direction to Mecca from your location. For astronomers, the "Julian date" is updated each second. The time can be displayed either in 24 hour format or am/pm.

The file - SUNCLOCK.EXE - is a self-extracting file. The installation procedure will add a Sun icon to your Windows task bar. To display Sun Clock double click or right-click on the Sun icon. Sun Clock can be configured to different languages and different typefaces. The Sun Clock set up pages includes an editor where different words can be entered to customize the sun clock to your language. If you customize the sun clock to your language you can share it with others by exporting the language file. Any Windows Screensaver can be configured by right clicking on the Windows desktop and selecting the Properties menu option, from which the screensaver configuration tab is displayed.

The terms and conditions of this Agreement are as follows:

You may access and use the Systems Union Sun Clock solely for your own personal or business purposes (the "License"). The Systems Union Sun Clock and the content are the sole property of Systems Union or its licensors or suppliers. You may not attempt to access or use the Systems Union Sun Clock for purposes other than for your own personal or business use; such prohibited activities include, without limitation, resale, rental, license or lease of the Systems Union Sun Clock. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise disassemble the Systems Union Sun Clock.

You understand that content will be stored on your personal computer until it is deleted at your direction or until it is automatically deleted by the operation of the Systems Union Sun Clock.

You represent and warrant to Systems Union that you (i) are at least thirteen (13) years old; and (ii) are either: (a) the owner of the computer on which you are installing the Systems Union Sun Clock (the "End User Computer"), or (b) authorized to install the Systems Union Sun Clock on the End User Computer.

THE WWW.SUNSYSTEMS.COM, THE SYSTEMS UNION SUN CLOCK AND THE CONTENT ARE ALL PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITATION OF THE FOREGOING, SYSTEMS UNION DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WWW.SUNSYSTEMS.COM, THE SYSTEMS UNION SUNCLOCK AND THE CONTENT WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR WITHOUT FLAWS, VIRUSES OR OTHER DEFECTS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW OR OTHERWISE GOVERN THE SCOPE OF EXCLUSIONS OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY IN FULL.

You agree that, because access to the Systems Union Sun Clock is provided to you free of charge, IN NO EVENT WILL SYSTEMS UNION HAVE ANY LIABILITY OF ANY KIND TO YOU FOR DIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS DATA OR DAMAGE TO HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE) IN CONNECTION WITH OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF THE WWW.SUNSYSTEMS.COM, THE SYSTEMS UNION SUNCLOCK OR THE CONTENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE FOREGOING EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY IN ITS ENTIRETY TO YOU. IF FOR ANY REASON THE FOREGOING LIMITATION IS FOUND NOT TO APPLY, SYSTEMS UNION'S TOTAL OBLIGATION TO YOU FOR COST OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER WILL BE LIMITED TO £100.

This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by UK law without reference to its choice of law rules. The United Nations Convention on International Sale of Goods (1980) is hereby expressly disclaimed.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Systems Union with respect to its subject matter, and supersedes any and all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral. Systems Union may amend these terms and conditions at any time by a notice on its web site and in the Systems Union Sun Clock, which notice shall be binding upon you if you continue to use the Systems Union Sunclock after such notice has been posted. You may not revise or amend these terms and conditions without the prior written authorization of an officer of Systems Union.
