Hilton International Awards $1.7 Million Dollar Contract

SunSystems to Manage Centralized Financials Environment for 25 hotels across Americas Region.

Miami, Florida - Systems Union, developers of SunSystems, today announced that Hilton International has standardized financial operations in the Americas on SunSystems. SunSystems will be implemented in a centralized environment spanning two continents and including 25 hotels. Regions involved in the project include the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada. The total value of the agreement is $1.7 million, comprised of SunSystems software licenses and services.

"Hilton International pre-determined a number of productivity and cost savings benefits related to building a centralized accounting environment," explains David Kelley, Vice President, Information Technology, Hilton International. "Despite talking to, and trying to work with, many large financial vendors, we found that SunSystems had the solution and team best able to do the job. The core elements of the SunSystems product, along with its advanced features related to multi-language, multi-currency and real-time reporting features, proved that SunSystems could deliver the stability and customisable functionality needed to take advantage of a "centralized environment."

Another key reason Hilton International selected SunSystems was based on the ability for the solution to deliver corporate level control and standardization without preventing regional offices from having the modification capabilities for regional needs/purposes.

Under the terms of the contract, Hilton International will be licensing a number of SunSystems suites, including:

Purchase Management
e-Requisitioning
Inventory Management
Budget Management
SunSystems Analytics
