LLP Budapest Kft - one of the largest SunSystems channel partners in Central & Eastern Europe - has secured further work from Hungary-based KPMG Central & Eastern Europe, a leading provider of assurance, tax, legal and financial advice.
The company has selected SunSystems to manage its financials in six Eastern European countries, in Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia, Yugoslavia. With this new agreement altogether 11 KPMG practices in the region use SunSystems, implemented by LLP. KPMG has been operating the system in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary for several years.
LLP Budapest deliveries the licenses for these subsidiaries and Hungarian experts will work on the installation and give support. The first installation started in June 2003 in Estonia and Latvia. KPMG purchased the financial modules (ledger accounting, multi-currency, asset register) of SunSystems as well as the business intelligence tool Vision Executive for reporting, running on Windows NT Server with MS SQL. This will give the opportunity of fully controlling the information flow within the company at the new sites.
"We chose SunSystems again because this software enables us to optimize the efficiency, improve the control of our business activities and importantly deal with special reporting standards. It will also help our executives to analyze business trends and make estimates of the financial data," said Mr. Momir Jeremic, regional IT director of KPMG Central & Eastern Europe. "KPMG has been working with LLP since 1998 for implementation and support of SunSystems at several sites. KPMG decided to extend the cooperation with LLP for six more sites because it has excellent service with highly qualified people".
SunSystems is a flexible financial and business management software solution used by a quarter of the Fortune 500 and 75 of the FTSE100. During the past 20 years, the SunSystems solution has been implemented in over 18,000 sites, in more than 190 countries, with the tools to manage operations - locally, globally and in 32 language variants.
Barbara Dreska, LLP Budapest managing director, states: "SunSystems, implemented by LLP, has already proven its strengths in various KPMG sites throughout Central Europe. I am pleased that our strong relationship with KPMG continues to develop and that we have this opportunity to provide them support in rolling out a consistent system in the selected six subsidiaries. This is evidence that SunSystems (with LLP) is an appropriate and dependable solution for multi-nationals looking for consistency in meeting corporate requirements while in tandem meeting local statutory needs."
